Philosophy of coincidence?

What do coincidences mean?  Carl Jung speaks of the idea of synchronicity, Wong Kar Wai made a film about chance collisions and in science, there is the Brownian motion.  Oh right, and in i heart huckabees, its filmic impulse was due to that guy’s search for the meaning behind his coincidences too…Perhaps, just as events might be related by cause, they might be related by meaning too…?

I need some answers to these metaphysical questions.
